Arsenal Vs Manchester City-This Could Be The Turning Point

Arsenal can make a real statement by securing a positive result when we welcome Manchester City to the Emirates on Sunday.  Here is my opinion about the game.

Arsenal Vs Manchester City-This Could Be The Turning Point

Team News

Arsenal are going to this game with few injuries around the squad, Hector Bellerin is not fully fit and he will have a late test today to decide if he can make the squad.

Kieran Tierney will be out for at least three months, Granit Xhaka is out too for this game, the bit of good news is that Nicolas Pepe has been declared fit to play today.

This could be a turning point for Arsenal and Ljungberg

I have a feeling that if Arsenal can manage to win this game ( i believe they will), it could be a huge turning point for both the club and the interim head coach Freddie Ljungberg.

For Arsenal, the win means it will be closing near top of the table and after Chelsea collapse on Saturday, the win could revive the hope of finishing in the top four.

For Freddie, if he can pull a win today I have a feeling that he will stay on charge for at least up the end of the season but if Arsenal has to lose heavily on this game I think the board will be forced to announce the permanent manager sooner rather than later.

Team selection

With Tierney, Xhaka and potentially Bellerin out of the squad today, it is very difficult to predict the team, for me I would like to see 4-2-3-1 formation with a pivot of Torreira and Guendouzi.

This is the team I would like to see

AMN   Chamber Sokratis Kolasinac

Torreira  Guendouzi

Pepe   Özil    Martinelli

I know most people feel that Arsenal will lose this game, but somehow I feel that Arsenal are going to surprise a few today and beat Manchester City at Emirates, I am going for Arsenal win 3-2 and Özil scoring in this game.
